Briana and Marco’s Wedding at the Museum of Art!

BrianaMarcoblog-53Briana and Marco were wed on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. It was also another perfect summer day in San Diego, warm and comforting. The entire day was peaceful, especially their ceremony. As guests watched all of Briana and Marco’s close friends walk down the aisle as their bridesmaids and groomsmen, there was definitely an anticipation of seeing the bride for the first time. Marco started breathing a little deeper under that beautiful chandelier, as Briana also took a deep breath with her Dad on her arm and she turned the corner to go see her future husband. The venue was perfect. They wed in the garden of the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park, in-between beautiful sculptures, ducks in the water, and an amazing live band that was playing. Both the bride and groom remarked afterward how peaceful they felt while standing in front of their guests giving their vows.

During their ceremony, a film was played describing how Bri and Marky met, and eventually proposed. They both agreed that it was God’s plan for them to come together, and that they knew God has something even greater planned ahead for them.  The night was finished off by a candy bar and a beautiful wedding cake waiting at the top of the grand staircase to be cut! Congrats you two!

Brandi and Eddie’s Liberty Station Wedding! (Part II)

BrandiEddieWeddingBlog-179

The final installment of Brandi and Eddie’s wedding was a blast! After making their love officially under the palm trees and cloudless sky, in front of all their friends and family, we were ready to celebrate! Little did Brandi and Eddie know what their bridal party and guests had in store for them at their reception!! After being announced as Mr. & Mrs. Padilla for the first time, they were ready to take their seats at the sweetheart table….but the bridal party didn’t sit down. Instead, the DJ started to play “Dynamite” and a synchronized flash mob began! First the ladies started to show their moves, then the groomsmen joined. You could see a “What on Earth is happening?” look on both Brandi and Eddie’s faces, especially when EVERY GUEST THEN JOINED IN ON THE DANCE AS WELL! The surprise was pulled off perfectly. The rest of the evening was filled with toasts and dancing, and an ice cream bar. Congrats, you two! I hope you are having fun on your honeymoon in Costa Rica!

Brandi and Eddie’s Liberty Station Wedding! (Part I)

BrandiEddieWeddingBlog-43

Brandi’s Father said it best in his speech; these two were created for each other. They completely compliment each other’s personalities. I wouldn’t say they are opposites (because they are both goofy and loving!), but definitely each others compliment, or the other half. They are both into sports and athletics, which is how they met. Eddie was the strength and conditioning coach for Brandi’s lacrosse team at San Diego State. Immediately after meeting him, Brandi knew he was The One, and Brandi’s family started to know that he was The One once he started to come around for the traditional family Sunday dinners!! Sure enough, a short while later, Eddie proposed to Brandi at Dog Beach.

Their wedding was held at Liberty Station near downtown San Diego. What used to be an old naval training center, has turned into a beautiful location for weddings! Guests enjoyed appetizers near the fountains, under the palm trees, while waiting for the ceremony to start. Take a peek into the getting ready process with the bridal party before the big day!! Stay tuned to see the rest of the wedding unfold! TO BE CONTINUED!!! ……
