Vicky and AJ’s Intimate San Diego Wedding

VickyAJBlog-14

I received a last minute wedding ceremony inquiry for these two lovebirds two days before their big day! Vicky and AJ’s wedding was unlike anything I have photographed before, and I LOVED it! While I’m so used to the wedding world being a huge production, scheduled, and rehearsed, this wedding was like a breath of fresh air. We all met at the top of the pier in Pacific Beach. We weren’t a large gathering, only a few of Vicky and AJ’s closer friends and classmates were in attendance, since both of their families live outside of the United States. Vicky is from Spain, and AJ is from Mongolia. Once we were all present, we threw off our shoes and looked around. “Soooo….where should we do this? Over here? Yeah that will do!” It was so laid back! There was no assigned seating or 4-string quartet. It was a “come as you are” moment. Once the ceremony started, we were all so caught up in the moment, that we did not realize the large crowd of beach goers forming around us on the boardwalk. When they finished with their “I do’s” and shared their first kiss, a large roar of applause was heard all around! It was beautiful. Their friends video recorded Vicky and AJ’s vows for their family to watch and be apart of the moment with them. We then popped open the champagne!! Congrats to you both! VickyAJBlog-2VickyAJBlog-3VickyAJBlog-5VickyAJBlog-4VickyAJBlog-7VickyAJBlog-8VickyAJBlog-9VickyAJBlog-10VickyAJBlog-11VickyAJBlog-14VickyAJBlog-15VickyAJBlog-16VickyAJBlog-20VickyAJBlog-17VickyAJBlog-19VickyAJBlog-21VickyAJBlog-23VickyAJBlog-24VickyAJBlog-25VickyAJBlog-26VickyAJBlog-29VickyAJBlog-32VickyAJBlog-27VickyAJBlog-35VickyAJBlog-36VickyAJBlog-37VickyAJBlog-38VickyAJBlog-40VickyAJBlog-39VickyAJBlog-43VickyAJBlog-45VickyAJBlog-47
