Amanda and Justin’s Marina Village Wedding

AmandaJustinBlog-105

All of Amanda and Justin’s friends know of the story of how they met. But it is always worth repeating! It all started with a pair of rollerblades. Amanda and her friend were roller blading on the beach when they were finishing up in the parking lot. Justin and his friend had just ARRIVED at the parking lot, and Justin made a remark about Amanda’s cool roller blades, but that he “could get her some custom blades” if she hung out with him. (Smooth, Justin!). Amanda laughed it off and thought nothing of it. Her friend, who would end up being her Maid of Honor for her wedding with this boy she met 5 seconds ago, told her she should definitely leave her number on his car. So she did. The rest is history!!!

These two bring a lot of light into the world. Their wedding was a blast, and very fitting of their personalities. It was classic and rustic, with a setting to the San Diego Bay by the ocean. Their 250+ guests were treated to an amazing band all night long, Slower. The wedding was more of a concert than an event! Everyone was on their feet for hours dancing to wedding classics like “Shout” and even some new music like Bruno Mars. Everyone left with a smile on their face, as well as some yummy candy from the candy bar. Congrats to the beautiful and fun couple!!

Christine and Andrew’s Chic Engagement Session

ChristineAndrewEngagement-11

Christine and Andrew are getting married! I loved walking around this beautiful building with them to celebrate their engagement. With modern, crisp lines, and a beautiful view of the ocean, they really stand out! When you are with these two, they seem like they have been dating for years, and that their relationship is just one of the worlds most natural things. We then headed to Los Penasquitos Canyon with their two pups for a little walk in the woods. Their dogs are their best friends and fur babies, and they couldn’t imagine not having them be a part of the engagement photos! We watched the sun start to set amongst the rolling hills of Southern California, which is always a magical moment. I can’t wait for their big day next spring! Congrats to Christine and Andrew!ChristineAndrewEngagement-8ChristineAndrewEngagement-14ChristineAndrewEngagement-13ChristineAndrewEngagement-17ChristineAndrewEngagement-18ChristineAndrewEngagement-19ChristineAndrewEngagement-21ChristineAndrewEngagement-20ChristineAndrewEngagement-23ChristineAndrewEngagement-24ChristineAndrewEngagement-25ChristineAndrewEngagement-27ChristineAndrewEngagement-28ChristineAndrewEngagement-30ChristineAndrewEngagement-31ChristineAndrewEngagement-32ChristineAndrewEngagement-35ChristineAndrewEngagement-36ChristineAndrewEngagement-38ChristineAndrewEngagement-37ChristineAndrewEngagement-39ChristineAndrewEngagement-41ChristineAndrewEngagement-42ChristineAndrewEngagement-43ChristineAndrewEngagement-44ChristineAndrewEngagement-45ChristineAndrewEngagement-46ChristineAndrewEngagement-47ChristineAndrewEngagement-48ChristineAndrewEngagement-49ChristineAndrewEngagement-50ChristineAndrewEngagement-52ChristineAndrewEngagement-59ChristineAndrewEngagement-58ChristineAndrewEngagement-57ChristineAndrewEngagement-56ChristineAndrewEngagement-60ChristineAndrewEngagement-62ChristineAndrewEngagement-63ChristineAndrewEngagement-64ChristineAndrewEngagement-65ChristineAndrewEngagement-67ChristineAndrewEngagement-68ChristineAndrewEngagement-69ChristineAndrewEngagement-71ChristineAndrewEngagement-72ChristineAndrewEngagement-75ChristineAndrewEngagement-76ChristineAndrewEngagement-77ChristineAndrewEngagement-78ChristineAndrewEngagement-79ChristineAndrewEngagement-80ChristineAndrewEngagement-81ChristineAndrewEngagement-83ChristineAndrewEngagement-84ChristineAndrewEngagement-86ChristineAndrewEngagement-87

Kristle and Aaron’s Fall Travel Themed Danza Del Sol Winery Wedding

KristleAaronWedding-240

Kristle and Aaron are two of the most gracious people I have ever met. Throughout their whole wedding, they kept thanking the entire staff and friends and family for everything they have done. “Are you cooking our food today!? THANK YOU SO MUCH! We are really looking forward to it! It means a lot!” they said to the caterers as we drove by them on our golf cart. “Thanks for carting us around all day!”, they said to the golf cart driver. “This wine is so good! You guys have the best wine!”, they’d said to the staff pouring them their cabernet. Even as I was about to leave for the night, “Wait! Don’t leave! You have to dance with us first! It was such a pleasure having you here!”. They really know how to make you feel warm and invited, and genuinely so!

My favorite part of the day, other than seeing Aaron have INSTANT tears when he saw his bride for the first time (so cute!), was strolling around the beautiful property of the Danza del Sol Winery in Temecula with such a loving couple. They truly are each others best friends, and think so dearly of one another. (“But look at those dipples!”) The rolling hills of Southern California wine country are so enchanting, its no wonder Aaron wanted to propose at a winery! Here is their proposal in Kristle’s own words; “Aaron suggested we go wine tasting in Temecula to celebrate finishing my Master’s degree program. I was excited to go, but that morning I didn’t feel up to it and wanted to stay home. Aaron insisted we should celebrate so we compromised by going to a closer winery in Escondido. We went to a small family-owned vineyard that also served delicious pizza. While we were waiting for our pizza to come out of the oven, Aaron pointed out a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The balcony gave a great view of the grapevines and the hills so I couldn’t resist taking a photo. When I turned around, Aaron was on one knee, holding up a small black box. I was so surprised!”

Their wedding was so beautiful, just like the happy couple! Congrats to both of you!
