lydiajacobbridalsblog-54

Lydia and Jacob are getting married…..SOON! These two are officially tying the knot in a few short days, but really wanted some bridal portraits on the beach before the big day. And we really lucked out! We caught the last good sunset of 2016 before the rain came to finish off the year. Can’t wait to see these two celebrate their big day soon:)Stay tuned!!!lydiajacobbridalsblog-1lydiajacobbridalsblog-2lydiajacobbridalsblog-4lydiajacobbridalsblog-5lydiajacobbridalsblog-6lydiajacobbridalsblog-7lydiajacobbridalsblog-9lydiajacobbridalsblog-10lydiajacobbridalsblog-12lydiajacobbridalsblog-13lydiajacobbridalsblog-14lydiajacobbridalsblog-16lydiajacobbridalsblog-17lydiajacobbridalsblog-19lydiajacobbridalsblog-21lydiajacobbridalsblog-23lydiajacobbridalsblog-24lydiajacobbridalsblog-25lydiajacobbridalsblog-20lydiajacobbridalsblog-26lydiajacobbridalsblog-27lydiajacobbridalsblog-28lydiajacobbridalsblog-29lydiajacobbridalsblog-31lydiajacobbridalsblog-32lydiajacobbridalsblog-34lydiajacobbridalsblog-35lydiajacobbridalsblog-38lydiajacobbridalsblog-37lydiajacobbridalsblog-39lydiajacobbridalsblog-36lydiajacobbridalsblog-40lydiajacobbridalsblog-41lydiajacobbridalsblog-42lydiajacobbridalsblog-43lydiajacobbridalsblog-44lydiajacobbridalsblog-45lydiajacobbridalsblog-46lydiajacobbridalsblog-47lydiajacobbridalsblog-48lydiajacobbridalsblog-49lydiajacobbridalsblog-51lydiajacobbridalsblog-54

Karen and Ryan’s NYC Engagement in Central Park

karenryanengagementblog-18

Karen and Ryan are getting married! I’ve known these two for a few years now, and after hanging out on both the east coast and the west coast together, I was so excited to meet up with them again in their home city of NYC to photograph their engagement photos. Since I only get back to New York a few times a year, we knew we had to do these photos when I was in town. The only problem was, the forecast was calling for 100% chance of rain! All day. So we braved the weather and met up for a quick drink at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel before heading out into the rain. We took cover under the Bethesda Terrace, and then headed to the boat house for another pit stop. I’d like to give a special shout out to my “assistant” for the day, Brett, and for being our sherpa and carrying all the bags and umbrellas!! So excited for these two to tie the knot next year! karenryanengagementblog-2karenryanengagementblog-1karenryanengagementblog-3karenryanengagementblog-5karenryanengagementblog-4karenryanengagementblog-6karenryanengagementblog-9karenryanengagementblog-12karenryanengagementblog-13karenryanengagementblog-15karenryanengagementblog-16karenryanengagementblog-17karenryanengagementblog-18karenryanengagementblog-20karenryanengagementblog-21karenryanengagementblog-23karenryanengagementblog-25karenryanengagementblog-24karenryanengagementblog-26karenryanengagementblog-27karenryanengagementblog-29karenryanengagementblog-30karenryanengagementblog-32karenryanengagementblog-33karenryanengagementblog-34karenryanengagementblog-35karenryanengagementblog-38karenryanengagementblog-39karenryanengagementblog-40karenryanengagementblog-42karenryanengagementblog-43karenryanengagementblog-46karenryanengagementblog-45karenryanengagementblog-49karenryanengagementblog-50nt

Ashley and Paul’s NYC Engagement

ashleypaulengagementblog-35

I was so lucky enough to catch Ashley in Paul while I was in NYC for the weekend. I *wasn’t* so lucky with the weather forecast! As I left sunny San Diego, I stepped off the plane in New York to chill-to-the-bone cold wind to the face and slushy snow on the ground. These two didn’t mind though! The shoot must go on! Luckily we got to just hang at their beautiful apartment, with Audrey the cat. We did try to venture off in the rain and snow, but it wasn’t too pleasant! Ashely and Paul are troopers though, and they were smiling and giggling the whole time. They love color and funky art, which is probably why they are choosing the beautiful Race and Religious for their wedding venue in New Orleans! They will be getting married in less than a year and I can’t wait! Congrats to you both! And thanks for braving the weather with me!ashleypaulengagementblog-2ashleypaulengagementblog-3ashleypaulengagementblog-5ashleypaulengagementblog-4ashleypaulengagementblog-6ashleypaulengagementblog-7ashleypaulengagementblog-8ashleypaulengagementblog-10ashleypaulengagementblog-11ashleypaulengagementblog-12ashleypaulengagementblog-14ashleypaulengagementblog-13ashleypaulengagementblog-16ashleypaulengagementblog-18ashleypaulengagementblog-20ashleypaulengagementblog-19ashleypaulengagementblog-21ashleypaulengagementblog-22ashleypaulengagementblog-23ashleypaulengagementblog-25ashleypaulengagementblog-29ashleypaulengagementblog-27ashleypaulengagementblog-30ashleypaulengagementblog-31ashleypaulengagementblog-32ashleypaulengagementblog-34ashleypaulengagementblog-35ashleypaulengagementblog-36ashleypaulengagementblog-37ashleypaulengagementblog-38ashleypaulengagementblog-40ashleypaulengagementblog-17ashleypaulengagementblog-45ashleypaulengagementblog-41ashleypaulengagementblog-43ashleypaulengagementblog-47ashleypaulengagementblog-54ashleypaulengagementblog-48ashleypaulengagementblog-49ashleypaulengagementblog-50ashleypaulengagementblog-52ashleypaulengagementblog-53ashleypaulengagementblog-51ashleypaulengagementblog-56ashleypaulengagementblog-58ashleypaulengagementblog-59ashleypaulengagementblog-60ashleypaulengagementblog-61ashleypaulengagementblog-62ashleypaulengagementblog-63ashleypaulengagementblog-64
