Cortney and David’s Yosemite Elopement

CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-108

Surprise! They eloped! And they did it in style. Cortney and David flew in from Florida to exchange vows in one of the country’s most beautiful national parks; Yosemite! It was a Monday, and also the first day of spring. The parks crowds were tame, and the weather was on our side. Although it called for scattered thunderstorms all day, we had some fairly warm spring weather! The morning started like any other. In fact, they both remarked how nonchalant the day seemed up to that point. They both got ready together at their airbnb. When getting eloped, there are no bridesmaids or family members coming in your room starting the tears early! After getting dressed, they still opted for a first look, and THAT is when it all got real.

We then drove into the park, and they got their first views of the tall, vertical, granite cliffs dripping with waterfalls that this park is famous for. We pulled over at El Capitan Meadow and met our officiant for the day. This was it! We looked around for *the spot*, and started their wedding ceremony. It was perfect. They each wrote their own heartfelt vows to one another, and a few tears fell. When they were announced as Mr. and Mrs., they got to share their first kiss as husband and wife! So good!

We then spent a few more hours exploring the beauty of Yosemite. It was perfect. I’m so honored to have been there for it all! Congrats to Cortney and David!  CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-1CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-4CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-7CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-8CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-5CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-10CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-9CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-12CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-13CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-14CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-15CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-17CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-19CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-20CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-21CortneyDavidWeddingBlog-18CortneyDavidElopementNOARM-122

Katelynn and Robbie’s La Jolla Engagement

KatelynnRobbieEngagement-78

These two are getting married and I’m sure I’m not the only one excited about it! After meeting Katelynn one night, Robbie insisted on taking her out for a date the next morning. What was supposed to be a cute coffee date meet-up, turned into a first date marathon that lasted about 8 hours! He took her all around La Jolla, so it was only fitting do photograph their engagement session there. As we parked in the village, there was a debate between Katelynn and Robbie of which juice bar they went to, with Katelynn swearing that they actually went to two different ones that first day! Love it! We walked down to the beach, and were greeted with the usual spring fog bank that hovers over the coast for these months. It didn’t make our time there any less pretty though! Before we left, they whipped out some sparklers, since their wedding venue doesn’t allow them, and Katelynn really wanted sparklers! How fun:)Can’t wait for the wedding in a few months!!KatelynnRobbieEngagement-4KatelynnRobbieEngagement-6KatelynnRobbieEngagement-1KatelynnRobbieEngagement-7KatelynnRobbieEngagement-2KatelynnRobbieEngagement-5KatelynnRobbieEngagement-9KatelynnRobbieEngagement-10KatelynnRobbieEngagement-11KatelynnRobbieEngagement-12KatelynnRobbieEngagement-13KatelynnRobbieEngagement-14KatelynnRobbieEngagement-15KatelynnRobbieEngagement-16KatelynnRobbieEngagement-18KatelynnRobbieEngagement-19KatelynnRobbieEngagement-22KatelynnRobbieEngagement-24KatelynnRobbieEngagement-25KatelynnRobbieEngagement-28KatelynnRobbieEngagement-29KatelynnRobbieEngagement-31KatelynnRobbieEngagement-32KatelynnRobbieEngagement-33KatelynnRobbieEngagement-34KatelynnRobbieEngagement-35KatelynnRobbieEngagement-37KatelynnRobbieEngagement-38KatelynnRobbieEngagement-39KatelynnRobbieEngagement-40KatelynnRobbieEngagement-41KatelynnRobbieEngagement-43KatelynnRobbieEngagement-44KatelynnRobbieEngagement-45KatelynnRobbieEngagement-47KatelynnRobbieEngagement-48KatelynnRobbieEngagement-50KatelynnRobbieEngagement-51KatelynnRobbieEngagement-52KatelynnRobbieEngagement-53KatelynnRobbieEngagement-55KatelynnRobbieEngagement-56KatelynnRobbieEngagement-57KatelynnRobbieEngagement-58KatelynnRobbieEngagement-59KatelynnRobbieEngagement-60KatelynnRobbieEngagement-61KatelynnRobbieEngagement-62KatelynnRobbieEngagement-63KatelynnRobbieEngagement-64KatelynnRobbieEngagement-66KatelynnRobbieEngagement-68KatelynnRobbieEngagement-69KatelynnRobbieEngagement-70KatelynnRobbieEngagement-71KatelynnRobbieEngagement-73KatelynnRobbieEngagement-75KatelynnRobbieEngagement-76KatelynnRobbieEngagement-77KatelynnRobbieEngagement-78KatelynnRobbieEngagement-80KatelynnRobbieEngagement-82KatelynnRobbieEngagement-83KatelynnRobbieEngagement-85KatelynnRobbieEngagement-86

Haley and Josh’s Bates Nut Farm Wedding

HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-107

I met these two just a little over a year ago and Haley’s sister’s wedding. I took their photo and thought, “aw, what a cute couple”. Now they are married! And I got to be there for it! I love when I shoot weddings of siblings or friends of past clients, because it is so nice seeing familiar and friendly faces. The day started off just like the rest of our winter days in San Diego this year- cold and rainy! But as soon as the girls started to get their hair and make up done, the sun came back out. It was still chilly though, and as Josh was saying his vows to Haley, he noticed that she was shivering in the cold. So what did he do? Happy wife happy life! He gave her his jacket mid ceremony. Their wedding was lovely and I’m so glad I got to be there for it:)Congrats to you two!HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-2HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-1HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-3HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-6HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-5HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-7HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-9HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-52HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-53HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-54HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-55HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-56HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-57HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-58HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-59HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-60HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-61HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-62HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-27HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-10HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-12HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-13HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-15HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-16HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-18HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-19HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-21HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-24HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-25HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-28HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-29HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-30HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-31HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-33HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-35HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-36HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-37HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-38HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-39HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-41HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-43HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-44HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-45HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-46HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-47HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-49HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-50HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-51HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-63HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-64HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-65HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-66HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-69HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-71HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-72HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-70HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-74HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-75HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-77HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-79HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-78HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-81HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-80HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-84HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-85HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-87HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-89HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-90HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-91HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-92HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-93HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-94HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-95HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-97HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-96HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-99HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-100HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-101HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-104HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-105HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-106HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-107HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-108HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-109HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-110HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-111HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-112HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-113HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-114HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-115HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-117HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-118HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-119HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-120HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-121HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-122HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-123HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-124HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-125HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-127HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-128HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-129HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-131HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-132HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-133HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-134HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-135HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-137HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-138HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-139HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-140HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-141HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-142HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-143HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-144HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-145HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-146HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-147HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-148HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-149HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-150HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-151HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-152HaleyJoshWeddingBlog-153
