Lindsey and Mark’s Peter Pan Themed Wedding in Laguna Beach

When I first spoke with Lindsey over the phone about her wedding day vision, my jaw dropped. She explained to me how the theme just came to her one night- Neverland! It was perfect; she had already found her perfect dress that was reminiscent of Wendy Darling, and their venue was out of a fairy tale. Both Lindsey and Mark are believers in “never growing up” and keeping that youthful spirit alive. And what is not to love about Peter Pan!? Twinkle lights, forest greens, fairies, mermaids, crocodiles hiding in the florals, and stealing a kiss from Wendy? They had the perfect details to complement their theme- thimble wedding favors, lantern bridesmaid bouquets, Big Ben silhouette on their invitations, a Tinkerbell flower girl, and Peter and Wendy cake toppers.

In Lindsey’s words, here is how her and Mark met after connecting online: “I gave Mark a series of little puzzles to help figure out my last name. Once he found me on social media, he responded in kind by giving me a puzzle to figure out his phone number. I gave him a call on New Years Eve. To this day, he still talks about the thrill he got answering the phone that night. We arranged our first date at the MoMa and ended up talking and laughing for hours. It was like meeting up with a best friend I hadn’t seen in years. We both knew we were on to something. The rest as they say is history.
