Millie and Ernie’s Museum of Man Wedding in Balboa Park

MillieErnieWeddingBlog-169

Millie and Ernie are both kind, caring, passionate, personable, and outgoing people. They are SO in love, and completely devoted to each other. They put together a beautiful, stunning, and traditional wedding, with the help of Joyous Weddings and Events. Here is their love story in Millie’s own words:

“We met at our very good friends, Jocelyn and Danny’s wedding in Palm Springs. As I was leaving the cocktail party the night before, Ernie was walking in. His best friend, Nate, introduced us. Ernie invited me to go out that night to a bar, but it was already late and I had to get up early the next day to help set up the wedding so I nicely declined his invitation. But the next night at the wedding, we so happened to be standing next to each other on the dance floor. Immediately, I was drawn to Ernie because of the silly flashing sunglasses he was wearing (which was our conversation starter). From there it was history. He and I both began talking and getting to know each other and immediately I just knew he was “the one”. We danced and laughed all night. And I remember telling my best friend that I had just met my future husband. And now here we are! Little did we know that we had the same mutual friends for years but had always “just missed each other.” We had never met until that day. And as fate would have it, the timing was just perfect.

Ernie proposed at Disneyland during a caricature drawing. He was acting very strange that day, almost ignoring me. I could tell he was a little different. So when we sat to get out caricature drawing done, Ernie was sweating and was barely listening to anything I was saying. When the drawing was complete, he handed the GoPro camera to one of the workers, which I thought was very strange. And when the caricaturist turned the drawing around, I read aloud “will you marry me?” And when I turned in shock and excitement to Ernie, he was kneeling down on one knee presenting me my engagement ring. At that same moment all of our family and friends had come out of the stores to surprise me! I was in disbelief at what had been happening! It was a true “pinch me” moment and couldn’t have been any happier. I said yes of course!”

They incorporated a part of both stories (how they met and how they proposed) into their wedding day. For their Grand Entrance to their reception, they both wore “silly flashing sunglasses”! They also treated all of their guests to caricature drawings by a professional artist. They night was a romantic and stylish event, and Millie and Ernie and smiles on their faces the whole time. Congrats to you both! <3 Have fun on your honeymoon in Hawaii!!MillieErnieWeddingBlog-24MillieErnieWeddingBlog-28MillieErnieWeddingBlog-33MillieErnieWeddingBlog-32MillieErnieWeddingBlog-36MillieErnieWeddingBlog-40MillieErnieWeddingBlog-39MillieErnieWeddingBlog-44MillieErnieWeddingBlog-43MillieErnieWeddingBlog-45MillieErnieWeddingBlog-47MillieErnieWeddingBlog-48MillieErnieWeddingBlog-49MillieErnieWeddingBlog-50MillieErnieWeddingBlog-51MillieErnieWeddingBlog-53MillieErnieWeddingBlog-55MillieErnieWeddingBlog-57MillieErnieWeddingBlog-56MillieErnieWeddingBlog-66MillieErnieWeddingBlog-68MillieErnieWeddingBlog-67MillieErnieWeddingBlog-71MillieErnieWeddingBlog-1MillieErnieWeddingBlog-3MillieErnieWeddingBlog-6MillieErnieWeddingBlog-4MillieErnieWeddingBlog-7MillieErnieWeddingBlog-9MillieErnieWeddingBlog-11MillieErnieWeddingBlog-12MillieErnieWeddingBlog-14MillieErnieWeddingBlog-15MillieErnieWeddingBlog-19MillieErnieWeddingBlog-20MillieErnieWeddingBlog-23MillieErnieWeddingBlog-18MillieErnieWeddingBlog-74MillieErnieWeddingBlog-76MillieErnieWeddingBlog-80MillieErnieWeddingBlog-81MillieErnieWeddingBlog-88MillieErnieWeddingBlog-87MillieErnieWeddingBlog-89MillieErnieWeddingBlog-91MillieErnieWeddingBlog-90MillieErnieWeddingBlog-92MillieErnieWeddingBlog-93MillieErnieWeddingBlog-95MillieErnieWeddingBlog-94MillieErnieWeddingBlog-97MillieErnieWeddingBlog-103MillieErnieWeddingBlog-104MillieErnieWeddingBlog-100MillieErnieWeddingBlog-101MillieErnieWeddingBlog-98MillieErnieWeddingBlog-102MillieErnieWeddingBlog-109MillieErnieWeddingBlog-108MillieErnieWeddingBlog-114MillieErnieWeddingBlog-115MillieErnieWeddingBlog-112MillieErnieWeddingBlog-117MillieErnieWeddingBlog-118MillieErnieWeddingBlog-120MillieErnieWeddingBlog-122MillieErnieWeddingBlog-123MillieErnieWeddingBlog-124MillieErnieWeddingBlog-125MillieErnieWeddingBlog-126MillieErnieWeddingBlog-127MillieErnieWeddingBlog-168MillieErnieWeddingBlog-152MillieErnieWeddingBlog-149MillieErnieWeddingBlog-153MillieErnieWeddingBlog-163MillieErnieWeddingBlog-155MillieErnieWeddingBlog-157MillieErnieWeddingBlog-165MillieErnieWeddingBlog-166MillieErnieWeddingBlog-167MillieErnieWeddingBlog-169MillieErnieWeddingBlog-171MillieErnieWeddingBlog-174MillieErnieWeddingBlog-173MillieErnieWeddingBlog-177MillieErnieWeddingBlog-178MillieErnieWeddingBlog-148MillieErnieWeddingBlog-181MillieErnieWeddingBlog-182MillieErnieWeddingBlog-183MillieErnieWeddingBlog-128MillieErnieWeddingBlog-132MillieErnieWeddingBlog-133MillieErnieWeddingBlog-134MillieErnieWeddingBlog-140MillieErnieWeddingBlog-139MillieErnieWeddingBlog-142MillieErnieWeddingBlog-190MillieErnieWeddingBlog-143MillieErnieWeddingBlog-137MillieErnieWeddingBlog-161MillieErnieWeddingBlog-158MillieErnieWeddingBlog-206MillieErnieWeddingBlog-189MillieErnieWeddingBlog-193MillieErnieWeddingBlog-194MillieErnieWeddingBlog-195MillieErnieWeddingBlog-196MillieErnieWeddingBlog-197MillieErnieWeddingBlog-198MillieErnieWeddingBlog-200MillieErnieWeddingBlog-201MillieErnieWeddingBlog-202MillieErnieWeddingBlog-205MillieErnieWeddingBlog-204MillieErnieWeddingBlog-211MillieErnieWeddingBlog-215MillieErnieWeddingBlog-210MillieErnieWeddingBlog-213MillieErnieWeddingBlog-217MillieErnieWeddingBlog-219MillieErnieWeddingBlog-220MillieErnieWeddingBlog-214MillieErnieWeddingBlog-221MillieErnieWeddingBlog-223MillieErnieWeddingBlog-225MillieErnieWeddingBlog-224MillieErnieWeddingBlog-228MillieErnieWeddingBlog-231MillieErnieWeddingBlog-227MillieErnieWeddingBlog-230MillieErnieWeddingBlog-229MillieErnieWeddingBlog-232MillieErnieWeddingBlog-236MillieErnieWeddingBlog-234MillieErnieWeddingBlog-235MillieErnieWeddingBlog-238MillieErnieWeddingBlog-237MillieErnieWeddingBlog-239MillieErnieWeddingBlog-240MillieErnieWeddingBlog-242MillieErnieWeddingBlog-243MillieErnieWeddingBlog-245MillieErnieWeddingBlog-247MillieErnieWeddingBlog-246MillieErnieWeddingBlog-248MillieErnieWeddingBlog-249MillieErnieWeddingBlog-250MillieErnieWeddingBlog-251MillieErnieWeddingBlog-253MillieErnieWeddingBlog-254MillieErnieWeddingBlog-255MillieErnieWeddingBlog-256MillieErnieWeddingBlog-257MillieErnieWeddingBlog-258MillieErnieWeddingBlog-259MillieErnieWeddingBlog-260MillieErnieWeddingBlog-261MillieErnieWeddingBlog-264MillieErnieWeddingBlog-263MillieErnieWeddingBlog-267MillieErnieWeddingBlog-269MillieErnieWeddingBlog-270MillieErnieWeddingBlog-271MillieErnieWeddingBlog-272MillieErnieWeddingBlog-265MillieErnieWeddingBlog-262
